Water Conservation Notice - Outdoor Watering Schedule
As part of the Town's water conservation plan, we are asking all residents to do their part by conserving water wherever possible.
Although the water level at North Pond is currently at a safe level, much of the summer still lies ahead. By taking simple steps to reduce water use now, we can help protect our water supply for the weeks and months ahead.
To help preserve our water supply, the Town is asking all residents to reduce outdoor water use wherever possible. Small changes, such as limiting lawn watering, washing vehicles less frequently, and using water wisely outdoors, can make a meaningful difference.
Outdoor Watering Schedule

6:00–8:00 a.m. and 8:00–10:00 p.m.

New Lawns: Daily watering is permitted during the same hours: 6:00–8:00 a.m. and 8:00–10:00 p.m.
Please register new lawns by calling 709-437-6532, ext. 286.
When using a hose, always shut off water at the faucet when finished to help prevent leaks.
We appreciate your support and cooperation.
By taking these steps now, we aim to avoid the need for a possible full water ban later in the Summer.
Let’s work together to protect our community’s water resources.
