Upcoming and Ongoing Work for Summer 2026 | Infrastructure and Public Works

Summer is just around the corner, and that means our crews are hitting the streets! As the season gets underway, you'll be noticing increased activity across the Town of Torbay as we work to keep our community in top shape.

Here's what our teams will be tackling this season:

🚧 Road upgrades, maintenance and pavement marking

💧 Water and sewer servicing

🧹 Street sweeping and cleanup

🪣 Ditch maintenance and drainage work

🌳 Parks, green spaces, and landscaping

🌱 General upkeep and seasonal maintenance projects

Our crews will be working in various neighbourhoods throughout town, so we ask that drivers reduce their speed in active work zones, follow all posted signage, and obey the directions of flagpersons on site. These measures are in place to protect both the public and our workers.

Our crew members are out there every day working hard to make Torbay a better place for all of us. We ask that everyone treat them with the courtesy and respect they deserve. A friendly wave goes a long way!
