TOWNS AND LOCAL SERVICE DISTRICTS ACT, 2023 NOTICE OF ADOPTION TOWN OF TORBAY BUILDING BY-LAWS, 2026

Take notice that the Town of Torbay Building By-laws, 2026 - Rev 0 were adopted by Council on the 10th day of August 2026.

In general terms, as per the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, 2023, Section 7.(1)(c), it is mandatory for the Town of Torbay to adopt a By-law regarding the ‘controlling and respecting the design, construction, alteration, reconstruction, minimum lot size and occupancy of buildings and classes of buildings and the demolition, removal and relocation and maintenance of buildings’.

The Town of Torbay Building By-laws, 2026 - Rev 0, are now in legal effect. Anyone who wishes to inspect a copy of the Torbay Building By-laws, may do so at the Torbay Town Office, during normal working hours or on the Town’s website at www.torbay.ca.
