Road Closure | Country Drive, Patrick's Path, Whiteway Pond Road Area | June 26, 2026

The Town of Torbay wishes to advise residents and motorists that a complete road closure will be in effect on Country Drive starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26, 2026. This closure is required to facilitate a necessary culvert replacement in the area, and this work is expected to take approximately one week to complete.

The full closure will be located specifically near the intersection of Country Drive, Patrick’s Path, and Whiteway Pond Road. Because this section of the road will be completely impassable to through traffic for the duration of the project, motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and allow for extra travel time. Traffic control signage and detour routes will be clearly posted throughout the surrounding area to safely guide drivers around the construction zone.

Local access for residents living up to the closure point will be permitted, and emergency vehicle access will be strictly maintained at all times. The Town asks that all motorists drive with extra caution through the neighbourhood and obey all traffic control personnel. We apologize for any inconvenience this critical infrastructure upgrade may cause and sincerely appreciate the patience and cooperation of our residents.
