Public Notice - Water Service Repair - Lower Street - July 7, 2026:

On Tuesday, July 7th, Town staff will be replacing a water service line on Lower Street just past the intersection of Eustace’s Lane. Work will start around 9:00am and is expected to be completed by 4:00pm on the same day.

During the duration of this work Lower Street will be reduced to one lane in the area of the repair. Flag persons and signage will be present for the safety of residents, motorists and staff.

As part of this work there is also a possible water disruption for the surrounding area. Residents may want to fill bathtubs for toilet flushing and have extra water on hand for other uses in the event of a shutoff.

In the event of a water disruption residents may experience water discolouration and pressure fluctuations. If you experience these issues, it is recommended that you run an outside tap or the bathtub tap until the water runs clear and avoid doing laundry until discolouration subsides.
