Fire Prevention Week | October 4 - 10, 2026

At the September 28, 2026 Public Council Meeting, the Town of Torbay officially proclaimed Fire Prevention Week, taking place October 4–10, 2026.

This year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety,” highlights the importance of fire prevention and encourages residents to take simple steps to help keep their homes and families safe.

The Town of Torbay thanks the Torbay Volunteer Fire Department for their continued dedication to fire prevention, public education, and the safety of our community.

We encourage all residents to take time during Fire Prevention Week to review fire safety practices in their homes and help spread the message of fire prevention throughout our community.
