Development Notice | Discretionary Use | 7 Clement's Lane
The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application from 7 Clement’s Lane proposing to establish a home-based business in association with the making and storage of mead. Mead is an alcoholic beverage derived from honey. The garage attached to the home is the proposed workshop site. There will be no signage and no clients will be received on the site. There will be two employees and limited deliveries to the site. The property is located within the Residential Infill (RI) and Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zones of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and the proposed workshop (light industry) use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.
Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, 12:00 pm (noon). More detailed information on this proposal is available by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
