Development Notice | 46 - 50 Convent Lane
The Town of Torbay is in receipt of an application proposing to consolidate three residential lots for a multi-unit residential condominium development at 46-50 Convent Lane. The proposal encompasses 13 dwelling units in a u-shaped row building, single storey in height, with each unit being approximately 89 m2 (986 f2) in size. The development is proposed to be semi-serviced (all units connected to municipal sewer; 10 units on non-domestic well; 3 units on previously allocated town water). Sufficient off-street parking for each unit is provided.
The property is located within the Residential Medium Density (RMD) Land Use Zone of the Torbay Development Regulations 2015-2025, and the proposed row dwelling / condominium building use is listed as discretionary. This application is processed in accordance with Regulations 33 and 90, requiring public notification.
Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal is asked to contact the Town Office in writing. The deadline for written comments shall be Friday, November 14th, 2025. More detailed information on this proposal is available by contacting the Town’s Planning and Development Department.
