Road Maintenance & Traffic Calming

The Town of Torbay is continuously taking steps to enhance public safety and improve traffic flow in our neighbourhoods. While we already have several traffic calming measures in place, we're always looking for innovative solutions that work even better for different areas and driving conditions

The Town of Torbay completed a Roads Assessment Report in 2016 for all Town owned roads at that time. The information gathered for each road is subjected to a ranking scheme to be used as a tool to assist Town staff to determine the priority in which the streets should be upgraded.
