Town Proclamation | Eating Disorder Awareness Week | February 1 - 7, 2026
The Town of Torbay is proud to proclaim the week of February 1 - 7, 2026 as Eating Disorder Awareness Week.
Eating disorders are illnesses that cause a person to adopt harmful eating habits. They are most common among adolescent girls and boys, and frequently occur along with other psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety disorders.
