Torbay Arts & Culture Hall of Fame | February 21, 2026
Torbay History House and Torbay Folk Arts Council are thrilled to announce our 2026 inductees into the Torbay Arts and Culture Hall of Fame.
Geraldine "Jerri" Pelegrinetti was one of Torbay's Community builders. Jerri was a dedicated and inspirational figure whose love of history turned volunteer work at the Newfoundland museum into a two room community museum at Torbay Town Hall. Because of Jerri's guidance and leadership Torbay History House carries on her legacy, offering programs for children and adults alike to learn to love Torbay's history and culture.
Irene Walshe and Eleanor Robson were the founders of the Torbay Quilters group in 2007. Not only are Irene and Eleanor the founders but are very talented quilters themselves. Their dedication to the community is evident in the group's annual donation of quilts to various local groups, organizations and individuals. Their leadership is an inspiration to a new generation of quilters and the practice continues.
Our final inductee for 2026 is Linda Reddy. A talented member of the Gallows Cove Band, Linda is also being recognized for her many years of dedicated teaching and mentoring of music students of all ages. She has also acted as director of concerts and dinner theaters as well as leading various church choirs over the years.
Please join us at Torbay History House, Saturday February 21, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to help us honour these amazing individuals.
