Torbay Arts & Culture Hall of Fame 2026

Torbay History House in partnership with the Torbay Folk Arts Council are seeking nominations to our Arts and Culture Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is situated at Torbay History House and celebrates those in the Arts community that have contributed to the rich culture and heritage of Town of Torbay.

Nominations are being accepted from all sectors of the Arts community in the following categories:

Performance: singers, actors, storytellers.

Literary: Writers, Poets.

Visual Arts: Painters, sculptors, photographers.

Crafts: Knitters, embroiderers, quilters, woodworkers.

Builders: Those who have contributed to the preservation of the rich culture and heritage of the Town of Torbay.

Groups and organizations from any of the categories may also be nominated. Nominations are open to residents, non residents and former residents. Posthumous nominations will also be accepted!

Selection of the inductees into the Hall of Fame will be conducted by the Arts and Culture Hall of Fame selection committee. Inductees into the Hall of Fame will be honoured in a ceremony held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Torbay History House.
