Public Notice | Water Service Repair

Please be advised that the Town of Torbay will be completing a water service repair near 44 Bridge Road on Thursday, October 30, 2025 starting at 9:00 a.m.

For much of this repair the section of road directly in front of 44 Bridge road will be temporarily closed with no traffic in or out, except for emergency vehicles, due to the depth of the excavation and the limited width of the road.

There are no scheduled disruptions to water service in this area but residents may want to fill bathtubs for toilet flushing and have extra water on hand for drinking, cooking and other uses in case of emergency shutoff.

Residents may experience water discoloration, and pressure fluctuations during this time. It is recommended that residents run an outside tap, or the bathtub tap until the water runs clear.

We would like to ask residents who may need to get through this area to park their vehicles on Riverdale Drive so that you can ensure you will be able to have access to your vehicle and the remainder (lower portion) of Bridge Road. Staff will be on site to assist residents with travel around the site. For assistance call 437-6532 ext. 286 or ext. 284.
