Public Notice | Torbay Alert System Reminder & Sign Up Steps

The Town of Torbay is reminding residents of the importance of staying informed while the Town of Torbay is under an urgent water ban. 

In the event of an emergency or a change in a situation, our Torbay Alert system is the fastest way the Town can reach you and those you care about. 

To sign up for our Alerts system please visit the Town of Torbay website and click on the Alerts tab on the top of the home page.

Steps to Sign up for Voyent Alert

1. After clicking the Alert button on the Town's homepage, click the 'Need to Register' text on the side of the landing page.
2. Enter the Town of Torbay.
3. Use the map and click on your property.
4. The Town of Torbay will pop up as the region for this alert. Confirm this as your region.
5. Enter how you want to receive alerts from the Town and enter your information from there (text and email is strongly encouraged as the full message will be available).
6. To add additional contact methods click on the side bar and click the 'My Contacts' heading. Once you can see the first contact you have entered, you can click 'Add New' and repeat Step 5.

Once you've done this you're all set! The Town of Torbay also encourages residents to please follow our social media platforms, particularly our Facebook, Threads, and Blue Sky Page. This will be the fastest way along with our Alert System where we can provide an immediate update to you and the entire region directly in the event of an emergency.
