The Town has issued a boil water advisory due to unpredictable chlorination levels as a result of frazil ice causing blockages at the North Pond intake.

Residents are advised to follow the guidelines for boil water advisories which can be found here (https://www.gov.nl.ca/hcs/files/publichealth-envhealth-boilwateradvisoriesforconsumers2009.pdf).

We expect this advisory to last only a short period of time as once North Pond is frozen over this issue should subside. Please monitor the Town’s socials and website for updates.
