Public Notice | Brush Cutting Notice

The Town of Torbay advises residents that annual brush cutting operations will begin on Monday, November 10, 2025.

The roads that will included in this year’s work are as follows:

  1. Upper Evenings Path
  2. Flemings Hill
  3. Piperstock Place
  4. Bridge Road
  5. Hiscock’s Lane
  6. Howlett’s Avenue
  7. Doody’s Lane
  8. Martin and Doyle’s Lane
  9. Woodfines Lane
  10. Blackberry Crescent
  11. Seaview Avenue
  12. Doyle’s and Quigley’s Lane
  13. Country Drive
  14. Field’s Lane

 

These operations are being conducted to improve sightlines, enhance pedestrian and motorist safety, and maintain roadway visibility throughout the community. This work is expected to take approximately 1-2 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Crews will begin work on the northwest side of Town and will progress eastward.

Residents and motorists are asked to exercise caution near active work areas, reduce speeds, and follow all posted signage and instructions for the safety of workers and the public.
