Nomination Day for Municipal Election Thursday, September 4, 2025

Nomination Day takes place next Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Municipal Building!
What’s Required
- Town Nominators (eligible Torbay voters)
- Completed Nomination form (MEF-02)
- $10 nomination fee (non-refundable)
Qualifications are as follows
- Canadian citizen who is 18 years of age of older
- Ordinarily reside in the municipality for a least 30 days prior to the date set for the for the commencement of the nomination period;
- Not in arrears of taxes or other charges payable to the municipality; and
- Not otherwise disqualified under the Municipal Elections Act.
Positions Available: Mayor (1) and Councillor (6)
The nominee with the two eligible nominators come to Town Hall. No appointment necessary.
