Take Action on Radon is a national initiative funded by Health Canada with a mandate to bring together stakeholders and raise awareness in Radon across Canada.

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from the ground. Levels can vary between neighbouring houses. The only way to know is to test.

Free Online Radon Information Session

Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. via zoom

Test kits will be available following the information session for a low cost of $30.00 (taxes included) from Town Hall starting on Thursday, January 29, 2026. All details will be sent out to registrants.

All participants are encouraged to attend the information session to learn more about the health effects of Radon. Information on Health Canada recommendations as well as details on where and when to pick up your radon detector will be included.
