Regular Torbay Public Council meetings are held every second Monday night in the Council Chambers, 7:30 p.m., at the Town Hall and are open to the general public.
Although the general public may attend regular meetings, they are not permitted to participate in council debate unless prior approval is granted.
When individuals or groups wish to make a presentation to the Town Council at the regular council meeting, a spokesperson should be appointed by the group to represent them. Any items to be included on the agenda for the regular public meeting should be submitted to the Town Clerk by 12:00 noon of the Thursday preceding the meeting date. This gives the Councillors time to familiarize themselves with any and all issues.
Meetings are conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined by the Department of Municipal and Provincial Affairs.
The next Regular Public Council Meeting will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017, commencing at 7:30 p.m.
