Bee Friendly Information Session

Event Details

Bees are essential to the food chain because of their important role of pollination. The worldwide bee population is suffering from a deadly disease and is heading towards a catastrophic collapse. Newfoundland’s bees are one of the only strains not yet affected by this disease, and we should do everything we can to support and protect them – come join local entomologist Barry Hicks as he explains the problem and solutions we can all work on together.

When: Thursday April 27th

Where: Jack Byrne Regional Sports & Entertainment Centre Community Room

Time: 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Cost: $20.00 + HST included in the cost is Wildflower Seed Packets.

Registration Deadline: 12pm noon on Tuesday April 25th.

Registration: Through eServices here on January 5th to Torbay residents and on January 17th to the general public.
