Town of Torbay Boil Water Order Lifted

Residents are advised that as of 9:30am Saturday October 29th the water boil order is LIFTED. Repairs have been completed and water samples have been tested to insure quality.

Residents on the Town’s municipal water supply can now use their water supplies as normal.

The Town would like to thank residents for their patience during this time and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

      Hi Andrew, Are you on the Torbay Alerts system? Three messages went out on Thursday October 27th to residents updating them on the boil water order. Perhaps the messages went to your spam? Feel free to call in and we can take alook at your account settings, (709) 437-6532.

        i’m all signed up to receive messages from the town as well, but i didn’t rec one for the boil water order either. I read it on facebook later in the day.

      There’s an update for 9am & 4pm on the page for today (October 28th).

      We’ll have another update tomorow (Saturday).
