Tapper’s Cove Wharf Construction – Parking Restrictions

Residents and visitors to Torbay are advised that construction upgrades are beginning on Tapper’s Cove Wharf this week and will run until mid-October. Due to this construction there are parking restrictions in place.

Parking will be extremely limited at this time, but boaters will continue to be able to launch their vessels.

Father Troy’s Trail which goes through Tapper’s Cove will also continue to be open and hikers are advised to use increased caution around the construction site. Access to the trail and parking for hikers is now advised at Torbay Beach, the end of Moore’s Valley Road/The Battery and at the end of Gallow’s Cove Road for the duration of the construction.

Please check this page for any updates to these parking restrictions.

Is the construction effecting access to the Father Troy Path completed at this time? (December 16) I have seen the lovely new pedestrian bridge above the broken culvert, making the trail between Lower Rd and Moores Valley Rd more passable. Thank you.
